Saturna Island Vineyard

WITH 78 ACRES OF VINEYARDS, A WINERY, BISTRO RESTAURANT AND AN INCREDIBLE WATERFRONT ESTATE, Saturna Island is a wine lovers dream. It is in fact, one of the "Wine Islands" of British Columbia's West Coast and maintains a cool Mediterranean climate with the highest average temperatures in the country.

The 78 acre vineyard consists of 60 fenced acres containing 45 acres of mature vines with another 17 acres zoned for a 20 room Vineyard Inn. Structures include a waterfront estate, equipment and machinery shed, winery, bistro building with a restaurant/wine shop and a horse barn in a mature fruit orchard.

With warm summers and mild winters, the Island boasts the ideal conditions for a long and prosperous growing season. The fully licensed winery has been producing since 1998 and has produced award winning wines over the past 6 years.

There are four vineyards on the property including:

Rebecca's vineyard is the oldest vineyard planted in 1995. It produces luscious and fragrant Pinot Noir, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris and Merlot. The first harvest took place in the fall of 1998.

Robyn's vineyard produces Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Merlot, Pinot Gris and experimental rows of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. The vineyard was planted in 1996 and the first harvest was in the fall of 1999.

Longfield vineyard exclusively hosts 12 acres of Pinot Gris and is named after the historic Longfield pasture where it is located. It was planted in 1998 and 1999 and the fist harvest was in the fall of 2003.

Finally, Falconridge vineyard, the largest of all of the vineyards, boasts stunning vistas of the ocean, Pender Island and the San Juan Islands.

Adjacent to Falconridge vineyard is a 10,000 square foot winery building equipped to process up to 20,000 cases of wine per year and the Vineyard Bistro, a fully-licensed restaurant (with seating for 120) that includes a tasting room and wine shop.

The incredible waterfront estate features 4 bedrooms, 3 baths a guest cottage, and a private dock that can accommodate both boats and water planes alike. The estate rests on two legal lots with the ability to build another home on Lot1 which boasts 2.5 acres with waterfront on two sides and a private 66 foot dock. The Infinity pool and spa are surrounded by beautiful, lush landscaping and rest alongside the ocean.
