Tess Kartel was born in the Netherlands, and discovered by a local talent scout she began modeling professionally at seventeen and was a top runway model in Hamburg, Amsterdam, Miami, New York and Los Angeles.
After full-time modeling in NY for 8 years, Tess moved to LA 7 years ago to work in film and has worked with some of the top talent in Hollywood in award winning films and television series. Having studied architecture and design and with a network of entertainment professionals and their agents and business managers, she was a natural at transitioning into the luxury property marketplace. Jorge De Leon is the Director of Development in Latin America and the Caribbean for Hurwitz James Company. The company’s expansion into the luxury estate and resort development market in this area required someone of Jorge’s specialized background. With more than fifteen years as a business broker in South Florida, long time experience in Latin America as a marketing professional, business development consultant, plus hands-on work as a developer of luxurious ecological properties he is the ideal representative for the company in this role. Jorge earned an MBA degree in International Business from the University of Miami and has participated in numerous transactions involving luxury hotels, golf resorts and spas in his career.
